Black Watch Alpacas Welcomes Amhar

We are thrilled to announce that  another true black, Amhar, was born at Black Watch Alpacas this October. He brings the number of true blacks on the farm to six.

His name comes from the Arthurian legend – one of King Arthur's sons was Amhar. Amhar's sire is Arthur of Wilderness Trace, son of Alpaca Knights Challengers Shetan and MAP Mirage's Raven. Amhar's dam is Gabriella, who is the daughter of Al Paca's Revolution and AV Latrisha. She is a granddaughter of Snowmass Peruvian Casanova and a great-granddaughter of Peruvian Bueno.

Amhar is also the half-brother of BWA Donatella, whose sire is XXX Silver Bullet, the son of Snowmass XXXTreme Legacy XXX and grandson of Snowmass Canopa XXX.
